The seed of education was swon foresightedly in the fertile soil of Phaltan by Shreemant Mudhojiraje Naik Nimbalkar well before 140 years to cater to the pressing need of down-trodden, deprivated, needy and deserving children of all casts and creeds in and around Phaltan Sansthan. His highness laid the foundation of education with vision and mission during British rUle. It has been making well-sustained progress when in 21st century.
The visionary king started Anglo Vernacular School in 1983-84. He started school for girls in 1984-85, when girls' education was treated as a crime. In order to provide deucation, Honorable Shreemant Mudhojiraje constructed new school Building in Dec. 1983. The school was named as Mudhoji High School on 1-1-1895.
The building has been grand monument in the field of education. This unique school celebrated its centenary in 1997.
Post independence, Phaltan Education Society was formed on 27th Feb., 1951 to nuture an expansion of educational mission. Shreemant Malojiraje was elected as life time President. 42 multi-farious institutions were started ranging from agriculture to nursing. English Medium School was started by Shreemant Malojiraje Naik Nimbalkar in 1969 in Phaaltan sansthan to meet demand of time. Enviable building was constructed in the calm and serene atmosphere in Jadhavwadi in 2000 with all essential facilities to keep pace with the spirit of new millenium. 26 batches of S.S.C. have been pass out with 100% result.
Further Phaltan Education Society proposed to venture CBSE School in 2007. The school received temendous response from the parents. More than 650 students have been enrolled from Std. I to IX in CBSE section which will be developed up to Std. X by natural growth. Commencement of Junior College Science faculty in 2008 was another feather in Society's cap.
The glorious past and the illustrious record of the parent body places it in the educational monument in the state.
